A journey through memory, migration and the wild beauty of the Pyrenees
The Golondrinas, as they were affectionately known, the hundreds of young women who crossed the Pyrenees to work in the espadrille workshops in Maule (Zuberoa).
They will be our guiding thread in this journey of migration and ways of life through places of dreams and fascinating geology.
Otsagabia, Isaba, Rincón de Belagua, Larra Natural Park, Sainte Engrace, Kakueta, Holzarte, Chales de Iraty............ These are some of the places we will visit and will remind us of the incredible strength and determination of these wonderful swallows to provide family sustenance.
